API Terms of Use
Overview
These API Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FieldEdge APIs. By accessing or using the APIs, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Authorized Use
You may use the FieldEdge APIs solely to:
Build integrations or applications that interact with FieldEdge services
Access data you are authorized to access
Support legitimate business use cases for FieldEdge Members or Partners
You agree to use the APIs in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.
Access & Credentials
You are responsible for keeping your API credentials (including client IDs, secrets, and tokens) secure.
You must not share credentials with unauthorized parties.
FieldEdge may suspend or revoke access if credentials are compromised or misused.
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
Use the APIs for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or rate limits
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the APIs
Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse API data beyond permitted use
Access data belonging to tenants or customers without authorization
Rate Limit & Availability
API usage may be subject to rate limits, throttling, or quotas.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue APIs at any time with or without notice.
Data Responsibility
You are responsible for:
Ensuring that any data you submit through the APIs is accurate and lawful
Obtaining all required consents before transmitting personal or sensitive data
Handling API data securely and in compliance with applicable privacy laws
Termination
FieldEdge may suspend or terminate your API access at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the APIs.
Changes to Terms
FieldEdge may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the APIs after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
